Will you dedicate a time to tapping back into your creativity? What if you knew your every need is taken care of, if only for a day or a weekend? We have just the place for you. This year, join an intimate group of women at the 5th annual series of art retreats.

CREATE in a warm, supportive environment brings together a diverse group of women, from working artists to weekend explorers, to moms looking to uncover their creative spark. Retreat leader, Sarah Stevenson will guide you through the weekend as you take part in engaging, creative sessions where you will explore various mediums

EXPLORE and go deeper than you thought possible

No matter your skill – or comfort – level, is a safe space for experimenting and trying out new projects. If you don’t currently identify as a creative individual, you will surprise yourself by the end of the retreat. If creativity is a part of your daily life, you will leave energized and brimming with ideas for your next project.

DISCOVER new friendships and connections in an intimate environment retreats are limited in size to provide you with the
opportunity to form lasting bonds with both your instructors and your
fellow explorers. In the evenings, participants and instructors gather to make new
friends that will inspire and encourage your artistic journey.

WHAT WE”LL BE DOING is focused on guided hands-on projects and personal interaction with experienced artist-instructors.

During the day retreats, in April and September, participants begin the day with a special welcome and “art-awakening” session. You will then delve into a single-medium series of classes – exploring the ins-and-out with an expert. Beginners and advanced students alike will discover new techniques and unearth their own personal style. Following your day of creativity, participants and instructors will relax and unwind with an artists reception and discussion-in-the-round to help participants reflect and appreciate the time spent on THEMSELVES.

During the weekend retreat each participant experiences three unique guided art and creativity workshops, exploring the various art forms and media. The retreat kicks off on Friday evening with a welcome dinner with fellow participants and instructors. Saturday and Sunday mornings begin with a special “art-awakening” session before your day of classes. On Saturday, an artists reception and discussion-in-the-round completes the first day of activities, with time to enjoy an evening meal in the historic Lake Tahoe town of Truckee, California. Sunday begins anew with a final workshop to complete your creative journey.

From Sarah, your retreat leader: is the perfect retreat for someone wanting to tap back into their creativity, uncover their secret self and get messy and play.

Once your registration is complete you will receive a personalized handwritten note from me – so don’t forget to include your address. One week prior to the event, you will receive a full retreat welcome packet with all the information you will need to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Take a moment for yourself and see how beneficial exploring your creativity
can be for your health and well being.

I look forward to you joining me in beautiful Lake Tahoe!

I enjoyed my experience at the retreat, Thank You. It was lots of creative fun. I especially loved having free time to just be creative. And, what I meant by “free time”, is the entire weekend was great time for being creative!

Past Participant

I didn’t know what to expect, I was a little nervous. Everyone was very kind. Sarah is the best, she helped me feel right at home. It was a awesome time! Turns out I like to knit, who would of thought!

What a treat this weekend was, all the way, through and through. We created. We talked about making it in this world as artists. We laughed.

The retreat was so beautifully put together, it was easy to forget that our creativity was the focus…  And by that I mean it flowed freely and was lovely
