The Sketch Book Project

by Sarah June 13, 2011

This month my sketchbook entitled “lines and grids” is traveling around the US with about 10,000 sketchbooks from last years Sketch Book Project. I know it is out there as I receive an email from arthousecoop each time my book is viewed. It is an exciting prospect to think that someone is leafing through the pages of something I have created. This week the sketchbooks will be in San Francisco and next week in Chicago. If you are in either location, please try and get out to see them….10,000 books all in one place would be a pretty amazing site and there are also some pretty amazing artists as well.

In addition to the traveling exhibit, you can now view my sketchbook in digital form through the arthousecoop website. To see it in digital form just click on the link  here (my sketchbook) or here: sydneys (this will bring you to my profile page-from there click on the artwork tab to view the sketchbook)

Finally, I had so much fun with this first sketchbook that I have signed up to participate in The Sketchbook Project 2012. My theme for this year is HOPE…Follow along with me as I create my project and watch my progression here on the blog.

Have a great Monday everyone….I’ll be off for a few days but will be back with some exciting new posts before the end of the week.
