The Earth and The Sky

August 21, 2012

The grass is moist and warm under my feet.

It is long today as my gardener has not yet come to cut it.

He will be here later this morning and the quiet I now experience will be drowned out by my two dogs barking with excitement.

Ah…remember to crate them before he arrives.

I look up to the sky and close my eyes.

The morning sun feels warm on my face and I think about the movie “The Odd Life of Timothy Green” and wonder what he was thinking when he raised his palms to the sky and closed his eyes?
