(end of the road) (or the beginning of something new however you wish to look at it.)
Happy Thursday everyone. Today, I am trying something quite new on the blog and I hope to make it a regular feature as tea time thursday moves forward. Podcasting…what is it? how does it work? and why use it on the blog? Well podcasting, for those of you that don’t know is a video or voice recording about a subject of your choosing and is any length you wish it to be. How does it work? I record a session on my computer at home about a specific topic (this week is Leaving Your Basecamp) and I upload it to the blog to be shared with my readers. I have been playing with this for about 6 months and it is something that I thoroughly enjoy when I visit other blogs and online courses. I first learned to love podcasting on Creative Thursday. My goal is to introduce you, my readers, to interesting topics on business, photography, design, creativity…you name it, I hope to do it here.
So today, my topic is one that was discussed in my online creative community called: Creative Coconuts…and it is my second podcast ever and was recorded in August of last year. It is funny for me to hear my own voice (as of course it never sounds quite like you think it should) and it is not perfect but it is me reflecting on stepping out side of my creative box. How do we do that and how do you make a living with your creativity. It is a reading from a book called: Creative is a Verb written by Patti Digh (whom I have mentioned before here)
I have not edited this podcast in any way so the beginning addresses people in my group. The podcast itself runs about 12 minutes and I would love feedback from you on the podcast, the topic or anything you feel fits tea time thursday. If there is a topic you would like to know more about in relation to redlinedesign®, please let me know I would love to add it to the posts. Hope you enjoy hearing my voice (that I don’t think sounds like me)….so get your cup of tea or coffee, sit back and enjoy a little inspiration on this snowy Thursday (at least in my part of the world)….
