This month I am joining in on a wonderful sketchbook project with some fellow creatives I met in Make Art that Sells. I love my sketchbooks and happily have been finding time to keep a consistent practice in several different books. For the month of November I am  joining Jennifer Orkin Lewis aka August Wren for #novinker (on instagram). In its most basic form, you sketch each day of the month with some form of ink.

I have been using black Pitt Pens of varying thickness and revisiting many of the motifs I created during MATS Part A and B over the last year. If you are just starting out, however, begin where you are and select subject matter that is interesting to you.

I’m also working small. My sketchbook is a 5×7 moleskine. For me beginning this way helps me to not become overwhelmed with a large blank page and also gives me a quick sense of accomplishment. I hope you will consider joining in for the month or at least following along on instagram.

Have a great Wednesday everyone!
