d is for detail

design details–Design Details can become a universal symbol for a building or an interior just as the detail does on Mann’s Chinese Theatre in LA. Most people would instantly recognize this detail if seen on a larger scale of the building itself. When I photographed this piece it was the intricacy of the masks that interested me. The detailing of the teeth and the hair on the masks especially and the look on the masks face as it stands guard over the theatre.
