This has been a slow week for instagram photos. I have however been sketching everyday and I took this image of one of my sketches last week. Its interesting for me to see how my eye translates to paper and then translates to an image. In addition to sketching I did capture an image of the sky in Reno.
I have been a bit uninspired by the world around me in the last few weeks and so it has made me stop and take a breath, and really look closely at what I am photographing. I am noticing colors beginning to pop as fall reaches the area. Reds, yellows, deep green and orange. I love these colors and need to take a moment to slow down and capture them for you. The lesson I am learning along this journey is that you will have periods of time where you become uninspired and you have to allow yourself time to move through them just as you would a period of great inspiration. You also need to find the beauty in the ordinary, everyday things around you. It is a good lesson in slowing down and appreciating the simplicity and the incredible beauty of life.
